Missouri Medicaid exclusion list
Missouri publishes its Medicaid exclusion list as an Excel workbook; the agency updates it monthly. What the federal gap means in Missouri
Of the 266 active records on the Missouri list, 77.1% do not appear on the federal OIG LEIE. A program that screens only the federal lists, as 42 CFR 455.436 requires at minimum, never sees those providers. Under ACA §6501, an exclusion or for-cause termination in one state's Medicaid program is grounds for termination in every other state, so a Missouri exclusion matters to any payer or employer in any state. The earliest exclusion start date the agency publishes is 2011-02-03 and the most recent is 2026-05-07. 85 of the records belong to providers that at least one other jurisdiction has also excluded.
